Another good day
Mina Brigitta had her best day in probably a month today. She was awake and active all day, with only a two-hour nap. After waking up vomiting twice during the night, she received Kytril at 5:00 am and didn't throw up all day. Still not eating anything, but she almost seemed like herself today. Her blood counts continue to inch up as well, so we can now be officially optimistic that we'll have made it through re-induction and can focus on getting ready for the transplant.
With the negative RSV result, the doctors gave us the go-ahead to take her out into the hallway and even into the playroom! Unfortunately, the playroom was closed today and will be closed tomorrow for the holiday, and Tuesday she has her bone marrow biopsy in the morning so will probably be knocked out most of the day. Still, it's a nice thought...

Way to go Mina! I am glad that she has made it through the reinduction process and pray that she is in remission. I will, of course, be praying harder than ever that the transplant will be successful. Love, Hari

Mina-
It was sooooooo good to hear that laugh of yours yesterday!! I hope that your day today is even better then yesterday! I can't express how relieved I am to see that the fevers are going away and that you are turning a cornner and getting all your spunk back, my only wish now is to meet you at the playground and go play(next spring we have to have a monster playground birthday for you). I hope that you make it to the playroom this morning, but if not the playroom, I hope you at least venture into the hallways!! I will stop by and see you tommorow before my staff meeting, hearing what I hope will be all good news!! Love you little munchcin
have a GREAT day!!
